Since the beginning of our ministry here in Bucerias we have partnered with mission teams from around the world. Short-Term Missions is a great way to reach out to the community and help start relevant churches in the surrounding area. Here at La Fuente we have hosted youth groups, construction teams, family teams, and teams of medical personnel who have come to Bucerias to mark the lives and hearts of the locals. We invite you to be a part of what the Lord is doing through La Fuente Riviera. Here you will find a lot of helpful information to help you in your planning process.

Depending on the type of team you bring down, there are several ministry options available here in Bucerias. Most of the information found on this page is geared towards visiting youth and family groups. For more information regarding construction or medical ministry possibilities, feel free to contact us.
A team prepared to minister here in Bucerias usually brings down what we call a program. The program can consist of many things but usually includes dramas, dances, and kids club activities (clowns, games, puppets, candy, etc.). We leave this creativity up to you, and we are always available for ideas and help. Youth and family teams are also involved in construction, cleaning, and other physical work in our church plants, locals’ homes, and our main church building. With many nearby churches there is an endless supply of ministry opportunities.
One tip that every member of a missions team should remember is “be flexible”. Often things take much longer, or change more frequently around here. It is important to remind yourself and encourage your team members to stay positive when things are inconvenient. One team that visited us turned it into a game. They all wore rubberbands on their wrists and if one of them complained, they had to snap the rubberband. The exercise gave them a sense of solidarity and kept them lighthearted.
At La Fuente Ministries we value:
...the church because it is the expression of Jesus Christ on earth. (Ephesians 1:22-23)...a commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission. (Matt. 28: 18-20)...giving priority to reaching the present generation with a strong emphasis on children and youth ministries. (John 4:35)La Fuente Ministries exists to establish new churches for this generation.
The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. It is time to provide for the great harvest in Mexico. Once churches are planted, this needy area will be provided for on a continual basis. Here is what happens when churches are planted.
